Prizes to be awarded at the 6th International Competition for Young Pianists «Zlatko Grgošević»

Prizes and diplomas will be awarded according to the evaluation of the Jury. Contestants will be graded on a 25 - point scale.

1st prize 20-25 points
2nd prize 15-19,99 points
3rd prize 10-14,99 points

Each competitor will get the DVD of his/her performance.

The awarded competitors will be given diplomas, whereas the competitor with the highest number of points in his/her respective category if competitor has won first prize will receive a money award which is indivisible.

Money awards:
Category A 100 €
Category B 150 €
Category C 200 €
Category D 250 €
Category E 300 €


SPECIAL AWARDS:

Molly Joó - Mathé Award for the best interpretation of the First Viennese School (Wiener Klassik) in each category. Molly (Imola) Joó-Mathé, the mother of Imola Joó, was a highly admired pianist. She studied at the Academy of Music in Budapest and was taught, among others, by Béla Bartok. This award is sponsored by her daughter and dedicated to her.

Category B : 120 €
Category C : 150 €
Category D : 170 €
Category E : 200 €

A special award for the best performed composition by Croatian composer in each
category, will be given by Ph.d. Ivo Josipović, the President of the Republic of
Croatia.

A special award in each category will be given by EPTA, Croatia.

Open university "Sesvete" - Culture department, gives a concert in Sesvete to the absolute winner of the 6 International Competition for Young Pianists •Zlatko Grgošević•.

The absolute winner of the 6th International Competition for Young Pianists "Zlatko Grgošević" will receive a special prize of 300 €.
